The Auditorium of Dijon is a theater located in Dijon, France, in the district Clemenceau, to 11 boulevard de Verdun. The building was inaugurated on 20 November 1998. Administratively, the room is integrated with the Opera de Dijon, which includes the Auditorium and the Grand Theatre, Italian theater of the nineteenth century near the Palace of the Dukes of Burgundy.
Designed by architecture firms Arquitectonica and Bougeault-Walgenwitz, the Auditorium of Dijon is deemed to be the best European venues in terms of acoustics.
The scene is flexible, accommodating operas, symphony orchestras, ballets, concerts of contemporary music, etc.. The hall has 1,600 seats spread over one floor, two balconies and two terraces.
The building is elongated, roughly triangular base, citing a grand piano. Part of the home passes over the boulevard Clemenceau: access to the building by the staircase or escalators, is north of the boulevard, the room itself, extending to the south. The home is pierced by an oculus located directly above the boulevard Clemenceau.
