-If you like to be active, the "Between Champagne and Burgundy? Green Route along the canal has 150km of cycle routes (for walking, rollerskating or cycling), through Marne and Haute-Marne. Do you like water sports? Come and rent our canoes to paddle down the Marne! Do you like indoor sports? We have forged a partnership with the gym just a few metres from the hotel.
- For nature lovers there are two carp fishing ponds just 10 minutes from La Vinaigrerie where you can fish for the weekend, the day or the week and enjoy some relaxation. 30 minutes away you can fish for pike, carp and zander in the waters of Lac du Der or come and watch the spectacular migration of the cranes which live on the banks of the lake, during the Montier-en-Der Festival (in the autumn).
-For the more inquisitive, Joinville-en-Vallange has a wealth of religious, historical and industrial heritage. You simply must visit Château du Grand Jardin, Jardins de Mon Moulin and stroll through Joinville to discover its "Renaissance" past! Would you like some culture? The Lucarne café-théâtre in Joinville puts on two shows every month. A few minutes away you can visit regional towns such as St Dizier (30km) and historic sites such as the De Gaulle Memorial in Colombey-les-Deux-Eglises (40km).
