This award-winning hostel, with heated pool and sauna, is housed in a heritage-listed building opposite Central Station in Sydney CBD (Central Business District). Guests enjoy panoramic views of the city from the rooftop outdoor area. Sydney Central YHA offers shared dormitory accommodation as well as private rooms. Guests have access to a free WiFi hotspot, 2 kitchens, spacious dining and lounge areas and a guest laundry. There are both TV rooms and an on-site cinema. The hostel has its own travel agency, café, restaurant and BBQ facilities. Located in the basement, Scubar nightclub and bar is open for drinks every evening. Sydney International Airport is 10 km from YHA Sydney Central and is directly accessible from Central Station. Activities include pancake breakfasts, free wine and cheese nights, pizza nights, walking tours, movie nights with free popcorn and rooftop BBQs.
