Built on top of the chimney of a volcano appears there is more than a million years, the chapel dedicated to Saint Michel stands at the northern town of Le Puy-en-Velay. The completion of the building responds to the idea of the Dean of the Cathedral Chapter of Notre-Dame-du-Puy-Truanus who asked the bishop of Puy Godescalc to build a chapel in honor of St. Michael.
