A halfway between Calais and Dunkerque,
In the heart of the Opal Coast, halfway between Calais and Dunkerque, the banks of the Aa is an area steeped in history and modernity.
Fortified by Charles V and then rebuilt by Vauban, the city of Gravelines can be visited today by foot or boat. On the other side of the mouth of the Aa, the smoked fish, the fish market and the museums of Grand Fort Philippe reflect the history of this fishing port.
But Gravelines, is also a city facing the sea with a marina and resort very active season.
