After his classification by the Ministry of Culture under the Historical Monuments in 1974, 28 June 1975 engraved rocks the park opens to the public. In 1981, the Historical Society of Guadeloupe while the site owner decides to offer it to the General Council, which now assumes the operation. 22 rocks with nearly 230 engravings form a particularly interesting petroglyphs. This site is one of the most complex and richest rock art of the Lesser Antilles. This archaeological site, located in a park with lush vegetation remains an enigma to historians.
