The Palace of Nations is a complex of buildings built between 1929 and 1937 in the Ariana Park in Geneva (Switzerland). It serves as the headquarters of the League of Nations (SDN) until 1946 and then occupied by the United Nations. In 1966, the palace became the European headquarters of the United Nations (UN Office in Geneva or UNOG) and the second largest in the organization after the UN headquarters in New York.
