Located less than 50 km from Paris in a special episcopal palace from the 12th to the 17th century, Bossuet museum offers a collection of old paintings municipal and sculptures, unique in the Ile-de-France. The memory of Bossuet, the famous orator and theologian, Bishop of Meaux, is evoked by his portraits of Hyacinthe Rigaud and after Pierre Mignard gathered in the former study.
