Lac de Lourdes

Lourdes Lake is the only glacial lake in the low-lying part of the Pyrenees, it is formed by the accumulation of water behind the Morraine former glacier Argeles (Gave de Pau), this lake has lost a significant portion of its original area, now occupied by a marshy area.
