In 1906, Dr. Joachim Carvallo was a favorite for the site abandoned. He saved by buying the castle was about to be demolished and created exceptional gardens in the purest spirit of the Renaissance. The French garden is composed of four distinct parts.
• The first is a garden made on the model of the gardens of the monasteries.
• The second part called the first exhibition of ornamental garden but also "the garden of love" is located above the garden. It is the extension of the rooms of the castle and admired the lookout. It is divided into four perfect squares embroidered with box. The first referred to as "Loving" is symbolized by hearts separated by the flames of love in the corners. In the center of the masks remind here the sweet words exchanged under cover. The second square is dedicated to "passionate love". Included are broken hearts by passion. The box is massive and form a tangled maze. The third square symbolizes "Love fickle." It is adorned with four fans in the corners of which are established in the hollow horns of love deceived. The center is filled with love letters. The fourth and last square symbolizes "love tragedy". The beds in the form of blades of daggers and swords.
• The third part of the garden called the second exhibition of ornamental garden is located on the other side of the channel. This exhibition of carved boxwood music evokes a stylized form.
• The fourth and final part consists of a water garden. It is built around a large pond in the shape of Louis XV mirror surrounded by a cloister of greenery. The prospect who lives in this garden continues in the surrounding forests. Each season, the flowers of the garden attracts a large crowd in its aisles.
