The Château de Billy is a twelfth-century castle located in the town of Billy 14 km north of Vichy in the Allier (France).
During its first centuries, the castle was owned by Billy Bourbon. The walled city of Billy and the province of Bourbonnais were part of the Bourbons. The castle remained powerful until the Revolution.
The main enclosure is an oval shape with a hexagonal lookout tower overlooking the houses of the town and the medieval streets that wind around the walls of the castle. An imposing gatehouse entrance atrium. On the south curtain a promenade offers a splendid view over the valley of the Allier.
