The Old Vicarage Hotel & Restaurant is one of the oldest buildings in Bridgwater, with some parts dating back to the 14th century. The property has undergone extensive renovations to the oldest parts of the property, including 9 of the bedrooms, in 2019.
The bar and restaurant serves lunch, evening meals and we offer all our guest a continental breakfast buffet with home cooked traditional as well.
Situated in the heart of the town centre, there is a garden and patio area, where guests can enjoy their morning coffee, lunch or a drink.

Due to the age of the building, there are steep stairs leading to certain rooms, which may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility. Furthermore, some rooms have wonky floors, to be avoided if you suffer from any imbalance symptoms.
Please note that parking at the hotel is very limited. Spaces are allocated spaces on a first come, first served basis. However, there is free parking from 18:00 - 08:00 on the road outside the hotel, or 18:00 - 09:00 in close by car parks. Parking tickets will be refunded. There are also 2 drop off spaces outside the hotel.
The Old Vicarage Hotel welcomes well-behaved dogs in the classic rooms for a GBP 15 per night, per dog fee. They will be provided with a dog bed, bowls, treats and toilet bags. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, mess must be picked up and disposed of and no dog may be left in a room on its own. Please inform the property in advance if travelling with a pet.
