On the eastern coast of western Scotland’s Cowal peninsula, The Colintraive enjoys a peaceful village location and has its own pub and restaurant serving local specialities. There is free parking and Wi-Fi at this award-winning Argyll hotel.
The elegant guest rooms all have a TV and tea and coffee facilities and have views of the countryside or across to the Isle of Bute. All rooms have an en suite bath or shower with hairdryer and complimentary toiletries.
The Colintraive’s restaurant offers dishes using local game and fish, and the chef’s own homemade breads, pasta and ice cream. The restaurant enjoys spectacular views of the surroundings, and is complemented by a cosy bar and lounge.
The ferry to Bute is less than 100 metres from the hotel and the island offers great beaches, gardens and the magnificent Mount Stuart Country House and Chapel. There are golf courses on the island and also at Kames which is around 20 minutes away.
