Please note that guests are required to carry the card used to pay/book the accommodation and present it upon check-in at the hotel. In case the accommodation is booked or paid for by a friend/relative/family member and the cardholder is not staying/travelling with you the hotel requires an authorized letter duly signed by the card holder along with clear copies of both sides of the credit card, as well as a copy of the card holder’s ID/passport. Specimen copy of the authorization letter is available here for download. Failure to comply with these requirements entitles The Chedi Muscat to deny accommodation and any other services without any liability.
Due to early flight arrivals reservations are to be made from the night before to ensure immediate access to the hotel and its facilities. This applies to all scheduled flights arriving before 09.00 AM. Equally, passengers booked on late flights are to reserve an additional night in order to use the hotel facilities until departure. This applies for all scheduled flights leaving after 7.00 PM. Compulsory Early arrival and Late departure nights can be booked on a 50% discount on daily rate valid for that day, excluding any special offers.
Please note that children can only be accommodated in a Chedi Club Suite, maximum 2 kids up to the age of 15 years old. The children will be accommodated on the existing sofa bed located in the suite living area.
-Children up to the age of 15 sharing their parent's suite will be charged OMR 40 net per child, per night. Children up to the age of 6 will be accepted free of charge in the suites. Breakfast is included.
-The Club Lounge is not available for children under the age of 6. Children from 6 to 13 years must be accompanied by one of their parents.
-The Chedi Pool, The Long Pool and Pool Cabanas as well as The Health Club are not available for children under the age of 16.
