O Appartementhotel Sonnenwende, de 4 estrelas, situa-se precisamente acima da famosa cascata de Bad Gastein, apenas a 200 metros do centro, onde apresenta vista panorâmica para as montanhas e a aldeia, acesso Wi-Fi gratuito e estacionamento gratuito na garagem. Todos os distintos apartamentos Sonnenwende disponibilizam uma varanda, uma televisão de ecrã plano com canais por satélite, uma cozinha totalmente equipada com uma máquina de lavar louça e uma elegante casa de banho. Alguns apartamentos incluem 2 ou 3 casas de banho. O Stubnerkogellift, o teleférico principal do Vale Gastein, fica a 500 metros dos apartamentos do Sonnenwende e também é acessível por um autocarro que pára em frente ao hotel.
