Set in beautiful grounds near Lake Windermere in the village of Bowness, The Burnside Hotel & Spa has an on-site spa with a poolside seating and bar, two hot tubs, a sauna, a steam room and a plunge pool. Within the spa is a pub serving real ale and bar meals. There is a restaurant, a cinema, and free fibre-optic broadband. The restaurant serves both modern and traditional cuisine, using local produce. Overlooking the garden, there are also views of the lake. The bar provides a light menu and guests can take afternoon tea or dine on the lake view terrace. The bright and modern rooms offer a 40-inch flat-screen TV and free tea/coffee. Each room at the The Burnside Hotel & Spa also has warm, colourful décor. Every private bathroom has a hairdryer. Some have private balconies with hot tubs.
