Hotel Manoir de Bodrevan Noyal Muzillac

At the heart of the coastal region of Rhuys-Muzillac, in the village of Noyal-Muzillac, a listed Brittany rural heritage site, Bodrevan Manor is a former 16th century hunting lodge, which along with its annex buildings has now been transformed into a hotel complex with comfortable bedrooms and suites, and a fine restaurant "La Table de Yann", the whole offering the discreet sophistication of a building steeped in history. The feeling of well-being procured by a visit to Bodrevan Manor will remain with you throughout your stay in Brittany. Located just a few kilometres from the Isle of Rhuys peninsula and the Gulf of Morbihan, the Manor is nestled at the heart of enclosed wooded grounds. In a refurbished adjoining outbuilding guests are accommodated in three spacious bedrooms, two appartments and also a small split-level pavillion opening onto the garden. At the time of writing (March 2010) facilities for disabled persons are to be provided soon. All of our bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms offer comfort and harmony. Cots and changing tables for babies & toddlers available on request. In the main building a fine open fireplace provides welcome warmth before or after dinner as the cool season arrives. After a good night's sleep, guaranteed by the peace and quiet that reins supreme, enjoy a copious breakfast. As soon as the warm days of Spring arrive the garden welcomes you for moments of pure relaxation: a stroll around the flower beds, a quiet read, or even a game on another unusual feature of our hotel - an outdoor American pool table!

Whether you choose to head off on into the forest of the hinterland, where the roadside crosses, the old houses and the chateaux will recount their legends, or you prefer to stroll along the wild coast and pass pretty little ports, you will feel the magic of this picturesque region. Take a break to enjoy a local pancake and listen to the sea and the cries of seagulls or the flapping sails of an old tall ship. The healthy sea air provides a promise of total relaxation and well-being. Head off to sea across the Gulf of Morbihan to the Islands: île aux Moines, île d'Arz, Belle Ile en Mer, île d'Houat and île d'Hoedic. If you're more of a landlubber, there is also much to see and do: Branféré animal park in Le Guerno, old buildings, museums, and, for nature lovers, there is a whole host of hiking and cycling routes through the forest or along the coast.
