Dating back to 1854, the Holly Lodge is quietly situated in the centre of Windermere. Bowness-on-Windermere Ferry Terminal is just 5 minutes’ drive away and Windermere Railway Station is a 5-minute walk. The Holly Lodge offers a comfortable guest lounge with an open fire and free Wi-Fi in public areas. The individually decorated rooms feature a flat-screen TV, an iPod docking station, and tea and coffee making facilities. The en suite shower rooms have complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer. In the mornings, guests can select a dish from the breakfast menu. The options include full English breakfast and vegetarian alternatives, served alongside a selection of teas and coffees. The lodge is less than 5 minutes’ walk from various shops and restaurants. Windermere is within the popular Lake District National Park, which is famous for its lakes, mountains, and forests.
