The village is located in Cerdanya, at an altitude of 1300 meters on a plateau surrounded by mountains from 1600 to 2921 meters and close to the ski resorts of Font Romeu (13 km), Eyne (10 km) and Puigmal (18 km).) and other Catalan snow resorts.
Saillagouse is 35 km from Andorra, 12 km from Puigcerda in Spain, 25 km from Les Angles (ski resort, animal park and large Matemale lake).
