FISHERMEN'S HOUSE and its SUSPENDED TERRACE WITH BREATHTAKING SEA VIEWS
"UNE TERRASSE SUR LA MER" welcomes you to Port-en-Bessin, a very active small fishing port in Calvados nicknamed "The Norman Saint-Tropez" by Françoise Sagan.
This authentic fishermen's house (18th century) is located in the first alley of the old port and a few steps (on foot) from all the shops (restaurants, bakeries, cafes, food stores, fish market, etc.)
It exceptionally dominates the outer harbour, the sea and the open sea to offer you a multitude of landscapes changing with the tides. From its terrace where the sea meets the sky, you can observe the herring gulls, paint the waves, accompany the trawlers or simply have a drink and taste the products from the market. We have tried to find the soul of this house without forgetting to provide it with all the necessary comfort for a stay that we wish you to remember.
This "Portaise" has three levels:
• upstairs: "room with a view" of the open sea (parental suite with 160 bed with private bathroom)
• a bright ground floor with living room (open kitchen and dining room with fireplace) + terrace. Exceptional sea views inside and out
• a mezzanine with a "cocooning" lounge (sofa, TV, etc.) overlooking a small sunny English courtyard, bathroom and two adjoining bedrooms: a 140 bed in one + a 160 bed in the other (divisible in 2 beds of 80 for 2 children / teenagers)
