“Louisette à la rivière” is a unique house in Reunion: dating from 1860, located on the Saint-Louis river at an altitude of 200 m, at the bottom of a dead end, this authentic Creole house combines the charm and character of the old with modern comfort.
Built in the middle of a lush tropical garden, the house consists of a large double living room, a winter dining room, a fully equipped kitchen with its functional popcorn machine and a master suite
At the front of the house, a large covered terrace with a table football and a gas plancha will give you the opportunity to have a barbecue party!
A second terrace on the side of the house with an outdoor bathtub allows you to take baths for two while sipping a glass of champagne among the cacti and palm trees.
A second bedroom in a cabin style opens onto this terrace. Small but very functional, this room has its own shower room, romantic and very cozy, it will please adults and children alike.
As an extension of this terrace, you access the swimming pool area with its deck where there is a shaded relaxation area with deckchairs and camp bed and a dining or aperitif area. The salt swimming pool, made of natural stone, is heated and allows swimming all year round.
Staying at Louisette's is like touching a piece of the history of Reunion Island in the 19th century.
