Les Pins - Château du Fraissinet

The Château du Fraissinet is located at the foot of the Cévennes in its 2.5 hectare park with the Gardon next to it.
It is a tranquil, green environment with lots of ancient trees, flowers and nights full of stars.

Great cottage for a large family - or to come with friends and grandparents - there is room! Nice view of the park towards the river.
This cottage is on one level - so no stairs. For this reason it is good for people who have physical difficulties. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like more information on access.

Relax by the pool; the large size (11 x 5 m, depth 1.4 m). There are also three smaller, shallower pools for younger children. The whole is refilled every year with water from our spring. Instead of adding too much chlorine we installed a UV lamp and ozone generators. So the water is gentler on the skin.

In the park you will find our two super friendly donkeys, Daisy and Lily, who love carrots.

You can take advantage of the river to dip your feet or go swimming in the nearby water hole.

2 km away, you will find the large lakes of Camboux where you can rent pedal boats or kayaks, swim, fish and much more…!

u Château du Fraissinet you have the choice between 6 gîtes of very good quality and comfort, all equipped with large beds (in double rooms) 160 x 200 cm, kitchen with oven, dishwasher, microwave, living area, table indoor living room, terrace with tables, chairs and parasol for eating outside.

- The Château apartment; 2 bedrooms, 5 people, two Italian style shower rooms and WC
- Chestnut trees, lime trees, acacias, lemon trees; all with 2 bedrooms, 4/5 people, all (except Citronniers) with Italian style shower room, and WC.

If you don't want to cook you have the choice of a tavern, a bar and a restaurant all within walking distance (max 200 m), all with a good atmosphere and warm welcome.

If you like sightseeing or want adventures, you will find plenty of options – hiking in the mountains, the bamboo forest of Anduze, the steam train that leaves from Anduze and takes you to St Jean du Gard , Nîmes - Roman city with the arena and the fountain gardens, Avignon and the Palais des Papes, Uzès and the Pont du Gard, horse riding, canoeing, kayaking, tree climbing, caves...
