The apartment is located a short drive from the historic market town of Céret and is nestled at the foot of the Pyrenees, just a 30-minute drive from Mediterranean beaches.
The Spanish border is 20 minutes by car and Barcelona just 90 minutes by car.
It's a great place to get away from it all, with plenty of options for exploring the many attractions nearby.

The terrace and the front door of the apartment are approached by the garden and by an attractive spiral staircase.
The good sized terrace, includes a table and six chairs to take in the view, while sipping a glass of delicious local wine from one of the many local wineries.
The front door leads directly from the terrace to the living room where there is comfortable seating, a TV monitor and DVD player.
Across the room is a large kitchen / diner / family room with stunning beamed ceilings. The room is well equipped with ample space to eat and relax.
The two bedrooms and the bathrooms lead off from this main living room. The master bedroom has a double bed, plenty of storage and an adjacent shower room. The second bedroom has good storage, an en-suite shower room and toilet, as well as 3 single beds that can be configured as a double, twin or with all three if required for three children.
The apartment benefits from air conditioning, essential in summer, but also has central heating in winter in case of cold. Additional costs are only charged for central heating.
The property shares a large, secure swimming pool, with magnificent views and sun loungers, with the other 3 similarly sized apartments of the Mas. The swimming pool measures approx. 10 by 4 m and has a deep and shallow end. Other shared facilities include a sauna for 4 people (for a small fee), table tennis and a gym with treadmill and laundry. Washing machines are also available at a small charge.
It really is a beautiful place with the gardens in constant bloom.

The possibilities for walks in the hills are endless and can be accessed directly from the house.
The nearest bakery and bars are a 15-minute walk away and a supermarket a 5-minute drive away.
Nearby, Céret has a wonderful Saturday market and is very popular with artists. It houses a museum of modern art with regular exhibitions, including works by Picasso, Matisse and Soutine.
The picturesque seaside town of Collioure is 40 minutes away and the nearest beach is just 30 minutes for swimming or snorkelling in the Mediterranean.
There are plenty of water sports on Argelès beach and boat trips along the coast, available daily from Port Argelès, where you will find countless fish restaurants selling the catch of the day. Snorkelling is best at Racou (at the bottom near the Creeks).
The proximity to Spain means you get 2 countries for the price of one! Many locals shop in Spain weekly at La Jonquera, where you'll also find duty-free cigarettes and great, inexpensive Spanish wine and cava. The beautiful cities of Girona and Barcelona are an hour and 120 minutes from the A9 motorway, where you can experience the culture of Catalonia and admire the work of Dali and Gaudi.
