After payment of the deposit, any cancellation must be notified by registered letter.
The tenant may, with the agreement of the owner, replace any person who agrees to contract under the same conditions. In this case, the deposit will be deemed paid by the substituted tenant.
The tenant may also transfer his enjoyment to any person approved by the owner, including during the occupation of the contract, while remaining personally bound by his obligations with regard to the owner.
In other cases, the 25% deposit remains with the owner as compensation. This is increased to:
50% if the cancellation occurs thirty days before the start of the stay
90% if it occurs within the eight days preceding the start of the stay.
If the cancellation is due to the owner, the latter will return the deposit paid and an equivalent indemnity. This is increased to:
50% of the price if the cancellation occurs thirty days before the start of the stay
90% if it occurs within the eight days preceding the start of the stay.
However, compensation will not be due in the event of force majeure.
If the tenant does not appear within 24 hours of the date of arrival on the contract:
- the contract becomes void.
- the deposit remains with the owner who reserves the right to claim the balance from the tenant.
- the owner can dispose of his property
