La Maison d'Hélène, maison de caractère avec jardin

Laetitia and Vincent will be happy to welcome you all year round.
To allow you to accommodate up to 10 people, we suggest that you rent our 2 houses at the same time: "La Maison d'Hélène" and "La Bergerie d'Hélène".

These are 2 adjoining but independent dwellings because they do not communicate with each other. Each of the houses has: 2 bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room and a bathroom.
You will be able to share moments together in the garden, at one or the other's place, or take advantage of meeting each other at home for more intimacy.

The two houses are located on the outskirts of the charming village of Salles-sous-bois and are typically Provencal in style with a mixture of exposed stone, terracotta floor tiles, lime plaster, wooden beams, stone slabs, travertine and parquet .

The garden (200m2) adjoins "La Bergerie d'Hélène" but does not have direct access from the house. During the day, you will appreciate this space for its beautiful view of the surrounding hills and the lavender fields as well as the shade provided by the almond trees and in the evening for its barbecue guinguette atmosphere!

You can also enjoy a small octagonal above-ground swimming pool 3m in diameter and 80cm deep (installed on a terrace below the garden), a gas barbecue or a wood barbecue, a hammock, deckchairs and a dining area with tables and chairs.
I would like to point out to you that the garden is not fenced and that the swimming pool is not secure, which requires special vigilance with children.

From the house you have access to many forest paths for lovers of ballads or hikes and around many activities are available to you: bike rental, fishing, quad rides, horseback riding or with donkeys , golf club, rock climbing, ropes course, geocaching…

Or discover our heritage (castles, fountains, listed villages, etc.), our local products (truffles, lavender, honey, olives, etc.), our specialties (nougat, picodon, Côtes du Rhône) or our crafts (pottery , ceramics, painters, sculptors…)

Baby equipment available: 1 cot, 1 travel cot, 1 high chair, 1 changing table, 1 bath, 1 deckchair, 1 bottle warmer, 1 safety barrier, 1 potty, games and toys.

Description of the 2 houses:

1) LA BERGERIE D'HELENE, village house of 120m², composed of 2 levels:

On the ground floor :
∙ A 15m2 entrance hall with dressing room, wood stove and separate toilet,
∙ A beautiful vaulted room in exposed stone of 20m² with 1 double bed 160cm, 1 trundle bed that can make 2 beds 90cm and 1 large dressing room,
∙ A bathroom in a row with a large walk-in shower, a double sink and a washing machine.
Please note that you will have to walk through this bedroom to get to the bathroom.

Upstairs :
∙ A 13m² bedroom with 1 140cm bed, a dressing room and a chest of drawers,
∙ A large 47m² living room with an equipped kitchen (dishwasher, gas cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, filter coffee maker, toaster, crockery, etc.), a dining area and a lounge area (two sofas, an armchair, a TV, DVD player, stereo, board games, puzzles, toys, DVDs, CDs and books).

2) LA MAISON D'HELENE, village house of 100m², composed of 3 levels:

On the ground floor :
∙ A large bathroom with shower, sink and toilet
∙ A shed with a washing machine and where bicycles, a stroller or any other belongings can be stored.

On the 1st floor:
∙ A kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, gas cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, filter coffee maker, toaster, crockery... and a period fireplace,
∙ A living room with a 3-seater sofa (not convertible), a sofa that can be converted into a 180cm double bed, an armchair and a TV, DVD player, games, toys, DVDs and books.

On the 2nd floor, sleeping area with 2 attic bedrooms:
∙ A bedroom with 1 double bed 160cm,
∙ A second adjoining bedroom with 1 double bed 140cm, 1 single bed 90cm and 1 cot.
Please note that you will have to cross the first bedroom to access the second bedroom.

Passenger access:
You will have access to the entire accommodation.
