A kota is a wooden hut typical of the Saami people in northern Finland.
We have placed our kota on the edge of the pastures: your neighbors will be our cows, calm and not very noisy. 1 km away is Lake Bairon with its beach, water activities, restaurant, fishing areas and birds.
Our kota is made up of two octagons connected by a corridor. View of the countryside.
In the first octagon, you will find a living room with an indoor barbecue for grilling even in winter. You will also find a small kitchen with two-burner ceramic hob, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and all kitchen equipment (pots, pans, plates, cutlery, etc.) No running water in the kota but a reserve of 20 liters. games and books allow you to relax. Reversible climate control.
In the second octagon, a master bedroom with a 140x190 bed, a small bedroom with bunk beds and a pull-out bed, a toilet.
In front of the kota, a wooden terrace accommodates a table and chairs, an outdoor barbecue, a parasol and deck chairs. You can relax in the Nordic bath and sauna. Heated with wood for gentle warmth, wood is provided.
A little away from the kota, you will find the toilets with running water: shower, sink, separate toilet, sink and washing machine.
The toilets are private: you will be the only ones to use them and you can leave your toiletries there during your stay.
