A cottage to take a break from nature and space between sky and river, welcome to our hamlet of Trèves between Larzac and Cévennes, 1h30 from Montpellier, it's already the end of the world.
UNE TRÊVE is a beautiful stone gîte, nestled in a wooded enclosure sheltering a shaded garden, open to a magnificent panorama of sky and cliff...
The river can be guessed very close to the ear. The cottage is a beautiful renovation of a traditional Cévennes house, with a (simple) equipped kitchen but enhanced by the many small shaded corners of the garden to meet up...drink coffee in the deckchairs, sit at the table under the hazel tree, take the barbecue for a grill...or reserve the hammock for a siesta!
By taking the stone staircase you access the large gîte, spacious and comfortable, recently renovated. We enter the main room, living room-kitchen, whose sofa can accommodate 1 or 2 children in extra bed. Upstairs, a beautiful bedroom under the roof with a double bed, and another small bed.
Located in a green setting at the foot of the hiking trails and the Trévezel river in Trèves, in the Cévennes National Park, and very close to the Causse du Larzac.
From there you can radiate towards landscapes of great beauty: Mont Aigoual, the abyss of Bramabiau, the rocky chaos of Montpellier le Vieux, or the beautiful "pots" of the neighboring Dourbie... A little further, the gorges of the Jonte or the Tarn (Millau)... Our region is full of nuggets to discover on foot, on horseback or by car!
