Le Saint-Jean - Gîtes La Fontaine Saint-Jean

We are in Burgundy, the Loire, the last wild river in France, is 3 kilometers away.

The Saint-Jean gîte (6 people) is very independent, has enclosed grounds (7000m²), with a cherry tree near the terrace table. This 75 m² house, very well insulated, consists of a bright living room, with an equipped kitchen area. The bathroom, with a shower cubicle, a sink, a washing machine, is entirely tiled. The WCs are independent and there is central heating with a boiler for hot water production. At the end of the living room two bedrooms of 12 m², one with two twin beds of 90x190, the other with a bed of 140x190, a baby bed up to 3 years old is at your disposal. A sofa bed for two people is located in the living room.

With easy access to the exterior and the somewhat wild space of the property, you can have a stay very close to nature, and enjoy the calm of the setting.

La Fontaine Saint-Jean is an old farm installed above a spring since Gallo-Roman times.
This water is credited with miracles for eye care.

On an area of 2 hectares, we find a pond (7000 m²) accessible to fishing. Fish: roach, tench, gudgeon, carp.

The estate hosts 3 gîtes independent of each other, tenants will be able to live far from each other.
A very quiet place, bordered by meadows where Charolais cows graze; also cultivated fields.
The site is very flowery and takes on multiple colors throughout the seasons.
Wild ducks pass by on the ponds and from time to time a heron is fishing.
The nearest village, Gannay sur Loire, is located less than 2 kilometers away. There is a bakery, a grocery store, a restaurant, a hairdresser and a post office.
The nautical stop, on the canal lateral to the Loire, is 300 m away, with games for children and a bar restaurant with a large terrace.

A few free-range chickens in the courtyard also welcome you.
In summary here, the calm and the setting of an old-fashioned life.
