Hiking trails FishingIn the heart of the medieval village of Ségur-le-Château, classified as the most beautiful village in France, the gîte is located opposite the village square shaded by plane trees and bordered by the Auvézère river.
Ideal starting point for hiking, cycling, mountain biking.
Located at the crossroads of the departments of Dordogne, Haute Vienne and Corrèze you can easily visit the tourist and cultural sites (caves of Lascaux, Plateau de Millevaches, porcelain museums etc... which are about an hour away)
In July and August many activities enliven the village:
- every Monday from 5 p.m. farmers market
- The 1st Sunday of August festive day dedicated to the black pig
- Guided tours of the village
- Activities organized by the Friends of Ségur association
It consists
- on the ground floor of an entrance, WC, washbasin and local washing machine
- on the 1st floor:
• an equipped kitchen with dining area
• a library lounge (television, orange subscription)
• a bedroom (140x190 bed) with cupboard and wardrobe
• a bathroom with shower and WC
- on the 2nd floor
• a mezzanine with office area (WiFi) and a 90x190 bed
• a large bedroom (140x190 bed) with cupboard and wardrobe. Small balcony overlooking the village and the castle
• a bathroom with shower and WC
Possibility of loaning baby equipment (bed, stroller, high chair, etc.)
Animals accepted on request.
