You will stay in the charming little village of Puivert, dominated by its famous castle, which is one of the many sites of Cathar Country.
Surrounded by meadows, on the foothills of the Pyrenees, the village opens onto a natural environment, conducive to hiking (hiking and cycling) and the discovery of many tourist sites.
In the village you will enjoy the lake equipped for swimming about 200 m away, multi-games area, three restaurants and grocery store, as well as the Quercorb Museum (opposite the gîte).
You are on the road to Château de Monségur and Ariège a few kilometers away.
White water sports in the upper Aude Valley and shops are 15 km away.
Carcassonne and its medieval city at 1h, ski resorts at 35 minutes, the beaches of the Mediterranean at 1h30.
