The cottage is fully equipped (including air conditioning) and is rated 5 stars. It is an old Périgord house with character and natural stone. During the renovation it was completely insulated in terms of temperature and noise.
Through the private entrance located in front of the house you enter a hall with a lazy staircase. On the first floor there is a comfortable, bright and high room with a living room/kitchen. There is also a bedroom (a double bed - 210x180 Auping - with the best tested mattresses) and a bathroom. Here you can enjoy a vacation for a longer or shorter period and relax.
Our house is quietly located in the village of Carsac-Aillac with shops, restaurants, post office and canoe and bicycle rental. In summer, a lively market takes place every Sunday morning. Everything is within walking distance!
The town of Sarlat-la-Canéda, the pearl of the Dordogne, is easily accessible by bike, via what was once a railway line and today a cycle path called “la Voie Verte”. Our house is located on this road.
Many tourist attractions are within a 20 km radius of our house. It is the ideal base for all kinds of activities. You can relax here and enjoy the magical setting, our house and our large garden. We are happy to welcome you.
