Cottage in the heart of the Pyrenees, near Pic du Midi de Bigorre
If you like nature, calm, the beauty of old buildings with character, you will be spoiled.
Renovated and comfortable gîte located in a park within an 1850 mansion, decorated with century-old trees and a magnificent rose garden in the spring.
A barn and a cellar separate the gîte from the owners' house.
The cottage, of about 90 m², is composed of:
• on the ground floor:
- a living room with modern and equipped kitchen open to the living room, 6-seater island, living room with 2 sofas, fireplace with pellet insert, TV on the wall
• upstairs :
- mezzanine with sofa bed, secretary cabinet, TV on the wall
- Prairie bedroom, double bed 140, French window opening onto the through balcony, mountain view depending on the weather
- Soleil room, with two single beds, French window opening onto the through balcony, mountain view depending on the weather
- bathroom with shower, towel dryer, wc
The gite has a partly covered outdoor terrace/garden without overcrowding, ideal for taking your meals and aperitifs. A plancha is at your disposal
The park is planted with majestic trees that are welcome to provide shade during the hot weather.
An annex hut at the entrance of the gîte under the barn houses the washing machine, dryer and sanitary facilities.

The cottage is located near Tournay, 15 km from Tarbes, 17 km from Bagnères-de-Bigorre, 40 minutes from La Mongie, Pic du Midi de Bigorre and Lourdes.
Lac d'Arrêt Darré: hiking, mountain biking, playgrounds for children, sports trail, concerts. Sumptuous setting with mountain views.

Geographic precision:
The Adour river has its source in the western Pyrenees and joins the Bay of Biscay (Atlantic Ocean) south of the Landes de Gascogne, describing a curve of 335 km.
The Pays de l'Adour (in Gascon lous Païs d'Adoù(r), dictionary by Simin Palay1), territories crossed by the Adour and its tributaries, extend from the western Pyrenees and their piedmont towards the limit between the basin of the Adour and the Garonne basin.
