You can enjoy the garden, where there are various seating areas.
We are in a small hamlet just outside St Martin, where there is a lake with fishing, and a play area for the children.
There are 3 bars / restaurants in St Martin L'Ars.
There are many lovely walks in the area.
The nearest town is L'Isle Jourdain, with bars and restaurants. There you can find a zip-wire that takes you across the Vienne river, also a treetop walk is for youngsters. Bungee jumping is also available for the brave!
The towns of Limoges and Poitiers are both an hour away, as is Futuroscope, which is well worth a visit.
The Valley of the Monkeys is a wonderful day out, and is about 25 minutes from the gite.
There are many lovely walks in the area.
