Gîte le Soleil de Fleurie

Welcome to Tessa and Eric in the Gîte Le Soleil de Fleurie.
Our cottage is located on 3 hectares of land with forest and meadow and after a short walk you can find yourself at the owners' house.

This half-timbered house, typical of Normandy, has existed for 200 years. It is recently renovated, is bright and comfortable but with an original character combined with modern design and comfort.
The house is ideal for couples or families up to 5 people (4 adults / 2 children) and offers an elegant place with peace and space with lots of light, in the middle of Val Sery, a small valley in Calvados, far from the stress of mass tourism, but with WiFi connection and television.
Have
At the entrance there is a lean-to outside, and you enter a 3m² room.
The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, a large fridge / freezer, an oven / microwave, and a cooking boiler.
From the living room we take the stairs to a landing where there is a special corner for children, with a bed (1.60 m), and a door to a bedroom for 2 people (an extra bed can be arranged here). This floor is 22 sqm.
The living room has a beamed ceiling and an antique fireplace with wood burner. Opposite the fireplace is a cupboard.
After the wardrobe you enter a double bedroom of 18 m² (we can put a small extra bed here)
The living room is next to the kitchen where there is a sitting area with fireplace and there is a separate dining area.
The bathroom offers a spacious shower, a toilet and of course also a cabinet with sink and the necessary storage space.
Since last year it has been built a new central heating system and it has two heat pumps

Outside you will find a swimming pool (April-September), children's play equipment with swings, a terrace with barbecue / outdoor kitchen and a large promenade garden with lovely views and seating areas.

Gite le Soleil de Fleurie is located at the edge of the forest, in a rural environment, a breathtaking view and a quiet cul-de-sac, in the heart of the Pays d'Auge and at the foot of the Touques valley, Notre-Dame -de-Courson is a commune of Calvados belonging to the canton of Livarot and the district of Lisieux. It is located at an altitude of approximately 110 m. She is a member of the community of communes of the Pays de Livarot. It is less than an hour from the beach of Basse-Normandie.
The house is located between two villages, the village of Notre-Dame-de-Courson with a bakery, a garage, a hotel and a café and the village of Fervaques with a post office, a small store, a pharmacy, a bakery, a butcher and a doctor.
