We offer for rent this charming cottage located in Saint-Cernin in the western part of Cantal. It is more precisely near towns such as Tournemire and Salers, the second counting among the flagship destinations of our territory.

This accommodation, with vintage decoration, is characterized by an area of 55 m², and it has a capacity of 6 people.
They have the opportunity to occupy the two bedrooms, the master bedroom and its 160 cm bed and the so-called family bedroom with a 140 cm bed, a second 90 cm bed and a 90 cm bunk bed.
In this beautiful house, which has been completely renovated, there is also a living room consisting of a living / dining room opening directly onto a terrace which allows you to enjoy the panorama of the mountains.
This cottage for rent in Cantal also has a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with large walk-in shower and separate WC.

To see near our vacation rental in Saint-Cernin
First, we recommend that you take an interest in the historical heritage of the region.
That's good, a first work is located within our commune, it is the Saint-Saturnin church, a charming place of worship emblematic of Auvergne Romanesque art.
Then, you could go to discover two medieval fortresses located in the surroundings. Reference is made in particular to the Château d'Anjony in Tournemire, which houses, among other things, superb frescoes and remarkable furniture, as well as the Château du Cambon and its sumptuous French gardens.
Regarding the natural sites that are worth the detour, it is difficult not to advise you to go and see the Lavergne waterfall, a beautiful waterfall located 10 minutes from Saint-Cernin. The Gorges de la Jordanne are another great curiosity for our guests, they are ideal for long rejuvenating walks.
To keep busy for half a day, head for the Museum of Volcanoes in Aurillac, it allows you to understand volcanic phenomena, their effects and the geological history of Cantal.

The activities to be practiced around our Auvergne gîte should largely satisfy you, whether it is a stay with family or friends! Indeed, there is something for everyone and it is not even necessary to take the car to taste it. For example, you have the opportunity to explore the routes of Saint-Cernin and Saint-Illide by mountain bike, a good way to enjoy the varied landscapes of the Pays de Salers while doing sports.
Original alternative to escape in the plain and in the forest: a horseback ride from the stable of the Doire, located in our town.
Let yourself also be tempted by a day at Lake Saint-Étienne-Cantalès, where you will find the dynamic beach of Rénac on which inflatable structures loved by children have been set up.

Nearby, you have the opportunity to indulge in tree climbing in the adventure park which includes more than thirty zip lines.
