COUNTRY COTTAGE - EQUESTRIAN COTTAGE
Less than 35 minutes from Lyon or Saint-Étienne, our gîte, a real charming residence will welcome you with family or friends for your weekends, your medium or long stays in a green and calm setting under the shade of a magnificent lime tree.
A typical architecture: this old farm benefits from a rural architecture typified by the arcades of its outbuildings which offers a unique and peaceful setting to the garden of our gîte.
The region :
This large farm, in an exceptional setting, will allow you to recharge your batteries and discover a welcoming region at the gates of Beaujolais on one side and the Loire on the other.
In a rural mid-mountain landscape, between the Monts du Lyonnais and the Montagnes du Matins, from 700 to 900 m above sea level, many walking routes will be offered to you, punctuated by typical villages of the region (Affoux, Montrottier, Longessaigne ...)
Some tourist suggestions:
- visit to the Pays Beaujolais of the villages of the region of the golden stones
- hiking or horseback riding (possibility to rent riding horses on request)
- aquatic center of Saint-Laurent de Chamousset or Aqua Center of Sain-Bel or even swimming at the Lac des Sapins...
- medieval Salva Terra adventure and leisure park in Haute-Rivoire
- Courzieu animal park dedicated to wolves and birds of prey
- local crafts and festivals: tupiniers market in Saint-Clément les Places, egg festival in Montrottier, taste and jam festival in Villechenève, and in summer several vogues in the neighboring villages...

- 1 “blue” bedroom with 2 double beds and pillows + cot, bedside table, lamps, clothes rack, rug and chairs – view of the south-east garden
- 1 bedroom with 1 double bed and pillows, desk, rug, bedside tables, bedside lamps and floor lamp, wooden floor covered with coconut and view of the south-east garden
- 1 bathroom with washbasin, shower, WC and accessories – no window, electric VMC, linoleum floor.
- A clearance space with wooden furniture and a vacuum cleaner and the access staircase upstairs, lino floor and no window.

- An activity room that can be transformed into an extra sleeping area if needed with storage furniture, fabric sofa/bed, 3 light fixtures, coffee table, 1 vacuum cleaner and an old sewing machine – wooden floor covered with coco and small low window overlooking the south-east garden

Description of the land:
Garden of 1500 m² with trees (lime tree, fir tree, etc.) with outdoor wooden table and benches, armchairs and garden chairs, barbecue, outdoor drying rack, outbuildings, paddocks for horses (3500 m²), meadow shelters, boxes, riding arena equestrian…
For a more ecological management of our lodging, an independent dry WC is accessible in an outbuilding adjoining the house and a composter is available in the garden.
We also offer selective sorting to our customers.
