Located in the extreme south of the country of Nay, between two slopes, bordered by the Ouzom to the west and the Gave de Pau to the east, Igon is a village in the Béarn region.
It is here that the small house called "Le chant du coq" is located, adjoining the owners and which has a swimming pool and a small garden where you can relax.
Igon, which means "waters" in local dialect, is a popular fishing spot for locals. It is also the starting point for hiking trails that will make you discover the country of Nay, a land rich in culture and traditions.
This is how you can go and meet one of our local breeders while attending the milking and the production of country cheese or discover one of our museums, such as the Musée du Foie Gras or the beret museum which showcases the traditional skills that have made the reputation of this place.
