Gîte "La Clef de l'Arche"

Additional information about our bed and breakfast and gite.

The guest house is not a place freely open to the public. It's a family that welcomes you into their home! There may also be other travelers under the same roof. This is why we invite you to take advantage of all the places of life at your disposal in the conviviality and the respect of the intimacy of each one.

For the comfort, hygiene and tranquility of all, we regret that we cannot accommodate animals in the rooms.

Arrivals :
In order to be able to welcome you in the best conditions, please respect the arrival time from 4 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. Exceptionally late arrivals are subject to prior agreement.
Departures :
On the last day, departures are at 10:30 a.m. at the latest. We are not hotel professionals, we must be able to have the time necessary to offer people who arrive later, the cleanest and most welcoming accommodation possible. We also have regular groceries to ensure you a full breakfast…

The pool is open from 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Please provide a bath towel and barefoot to access it.

For any reservation, a deposit (30%) will be requested. Any cancellation must be notified by email. This will lead to the collection of fees, if:

in case of cancellation less than 10 days before your arrival, the deposit will not be refunded or postponed for this reservation.
in the event of a shortened stay, the price corresponding to the cost of your reservation remains fully acquired.
For any group reservation of several rooms taken well in advance, the cancellation period is 1 month. After this date, the deposit will not be refunded or postponed. If the reservation is partially taken, the rooms not occupied at the last moment will be due.
The rooms made available are verified, functional and in very good condition.

Our guests are invited to inform us of any shortcomings. The rooms are all non-smoking and are not intended for laundry or meals. A flat-screen television is available to visitors in each room, the sound must be moderate from 10 p.m. Visitors can also access WiFi for free. Illegal downloading is prohibited. Heavy soiling will be the responsibility of the customer. Valuables (jewellery, multimedia devices, various means of payment, etc.) must not be left in the rooms or in parked vehicles, the hosts declining all responsibility in the event of the disappearance of these objects.

In the event of non-compliance with the internal regulations, “Les Gargouilles” reserves the right to invite the guest to leave the establishment without being able to demand any refund.

General provisions :

In compliance with the decree N°2006-1386 of November 15, 2006, it is strictly forbidden to smoke in the rooms and places for collective use. Smoking areas are available.

We ask our guests to present a decent dress on all occasions, and to be dressed and shod when traveling in the common areas.

The customer undertakes to return the gîte in perfect condition at the end of the stay and to declare, and assume financially, any possible deterioration for which he may be responsible.
Children living within the property are the sole responsibility of their parents. Theft and accidents: the owner declines all responsibility in the event of theft or bodily injury occurring in the property.

Eco-tourism:

The owners of the Gargoyles are sensitive to the safeguard of our planet and wish to contribute to the protection of the environment by minimizing the footprint of the operation of its reception structure, this is the reason why we are counting on your collaboration.

Simple, non-binding measures can do a lot.

=> avoid leaving the lights unnecessarily on and the air conditioners during your absence.

=> do not let the water run and moderate the flow during showers.

=> we ask you to throw only toilet paper in the toilets, other waste having a trash can provided for this purpose.

=> avoid using all the towels made available to you if you do not really need them.

=> you will find in the picnic area a trash can with two compartments (household waste/selective sorting).

=> ventilate the room during your breakfast, close the shutters and windows to keep it cool in summer.
