Heated poolLe Séchoir des Acacias, in Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère, is located 12 km from the Lascaux cave and 25 km from Sarlat.
It was built in the 1960s and lived through the tobacco heyday until the early 2000s.
This culture gradually disappearing from the Périgord landscape, it was used for several years as storage warehouses.
In 2017, seeing this building deteriorate over time and in order to avoid its disappearance, the current owners will embark on a real adventure to rehabilitate and safeguard this former agricultural monument.
After 4 years of intense work in collaboration with local craftsmen, the dryer is now made up of 4 apartments, each with covered terraces.
The apartment "L'Orée du Bois" located on the ground floor on the north side is equipped with all comforts, it has 2 bedrooms of 11 m²: one with 1 double bed of 160x200 and the other with 2 beds of 90x200, 1 separate WC , 1 bathroom with shower and double washbasin as well as a large kitchen/living room area of 45 m² with 1 very comfortable sofa bed of 140x190.
The owners live next door.

Cot €10, baby high chair €10
The swimming pool, shared with the other three gîtes, is open from 9 a.m. to 7.30 p.m. in July-August and from 9 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. in mid-season. It is accessible from the beginning of June to the end of September.

"Exceptionnel"
Magnifique gite en plein coeur de la nature près du village de Saint Léon sur Vézère (classé parmi les plus beaux villages de France). Le gite est spacieux, fonctionnel et décoré avec grand soin. La belle vue et le calme ainsi que la piscine ont réjoui toute la famille.
Nous recommandons ce gite les yeux fermés ! Un grand merci à Christelle et Jérôme qui sont des hôtes accueillants et chaleureux ! Emilie Nicolas et les enfants

"Un rêve de famille"
Gite loué dans le cadre de la visite de mes parents chiliens cet été, nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable. Le gîte est très bien agencé et décoré avec goût, le cadre est exceptionnel et la situation proche de plusieurs sites historiques et touristiques a facilité l'optimisation des vacances nous permettant de parcourir le cœur de ce beau pays.
Il faut bien sûr ajouter l'amabilité et la disponibilité de nos hôtes, avec leurs petites attentions et conseils sur les lieux à visiter.
Enfin, le manuel du gite laissé sur place est très complet et clair, d'une grande utilité.

"Excellent séjour"
Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine dans cette location au calme et au bel environnement. Le gîte est d'une propreté irréprochable. L'ameublement, la literie et l'équipement sont de qualité, il ne manque rien ; on ne boit pas l'apéro dans des verres à moutarde! L'accueil est chaleureux et les propriétaires attentifs à nous faire passer un agréable séjour.
L'emplacement dans la vallée de la Vézère permet de découvrir les nombreux sites de cette région magnifique.
Nous recommandons sans retenue.
