Le Séchoir des Acacias, in Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère, is located 12 km from the Lascaux cave and 25 km from Sarlat.
It was built in the 1960s and lived through the tobacco heyday until the early 2000s.
This culture gradually disappearing from the Périgord landscape, it was used for several years as storage warehouses.
In 2017, seeing this building deteriorate over time and in order to avoid its disappearance, the current owners will embark on a real adventure to rehabilitate and safeguard this former agricultural monument.
After 4 years of intense work in collaboration with local craftsmen, the dryer is now made up of 4 apartments, each with covered terraces.
The apartment "L'Orée du Bois" located on the ground floor on the north side is equipped with all comforts, it has 2 bedrooms of 11 m²: one with 1 double bed of 160x200 and the other with 2 beds of 90x200, 1 separate WC , 1 bathroom with shower and double washbasin as well as a large kitchen/living room area of 45 m² with 1 very comfortable sofa bed of 140x190.
The owners live next door.

The swimming pool, shared with the other three gîtes, is open from 9 a.m. to 7.30 p.m. in July-August and from 9 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. in mid-season. It is accessible from the beginning of June to the end of September.
