Gîte Fleur de papillon

Our detached gîte is located outside the dreamy mountain village of Rochepaule, on a beautiful south-facing slope, in the wild and romantic mountains of the Ardèche region, at an altitude of 800 meters. It is located on our quiet and secluded farm Le Portier and offers you a beautiful panorama every day.

The former workshop, built a few years ago in timber frame construction, has been completely gutted, refurbished and tastefully furnished to a high standard.

In the 30m² studio for 2 people with fully equipped kitchen, bathroom (WC/walk-in shower), visually separated sleeping area, an additional wardrobe folding bed, sitting area, wood-burning stove and sun terrace, you are immediately invited to feel at home.

The south-facing terrace door leads directly onto the sun terrace with an unobstructed view over the valley of a branch of the Aygueneyre torrent to the Col de Freydaparet at 1115 m above sea level. The terrace is currently being rebuilt until March 2024.

Swimming, hiking, pilgrimages, excursions, cycling, mountain biking, motocross or simply enjoying the absolute peace and quiet and nature - everything is possible here.

If you like, we would be happy to give you an insight into our work on the farm, which we started managing at the beginning of 2023. We rely on the permaculture method. Sustainability, biodiversity and self-sufficiency are core values for us.
