Swimming-pool Bicycle hireOur gites are in a beautiful spot with lovely open views of the Gers countryside. They sit in a meadow on a hillside overlooking vines and the pretty local village of Castelnau D'Auzan.
Etoile has 2 double bedrooms and a bed settee
Hirondelle has 1 double bedroom and a bed settee
Both gites have plenty of private outdoor space with extensive terraces for outdoor lazing and dining. There are hammocks and loungers and our pool is just above them in a lovely little sun trap.
They are 5 minutes walk from our campsite so in high season our gite guests can choose to come and join events there or chill out in their own private space.
We are in a great location for exploring Gascony. There are three "Plus Beaux Villages" nearby and numerous other fascinating bastides and small towns. The countryside is spectacularly beautiful; unspoiled and ever-changing.
The Gers is a very welcoming and friendly area. There is plenty to do and see with lots of special summer events such as wine tasting, night markets, musical events and fêtes. There are numerous, lovely little restaurants and superb vineyards round every corner. There are beautiful, hidden spots everywhere.
