During the Second World War, the "DRUGER" farm was a mecca of local resistance. Located at the top of a hill, it supplied the maquisards hidden in the surrounding woods, and served as a meeting and exchange point for the resistance fighters. Mr. DRUGER, the master of the place at the time, sheltered and hid many American soldiers and resistance fighters, in the haystack.
