The chalet is located at a place called: Le Plan du Say, in the Polset valley, in the town of Saint-André (73500), on the edge of the Vanoise national park.
It is an alpine chalet with simple comfort. This chalet is a typical Maurienne habitat, so it has a slate roof and stone walls.
In the summer, from approximately June 15 to July 15, summer sheep come to graze in the mountain pastures around the chalet. For several years, horses and a small herd of cows have also spent the summer in the valley.
The chalet is made up of two independent parts: the gîte part in which you will be installed, and a private part which is adjoining.
The cottage is on 2 levels:
On the ground floor: a small living room and 3 bedrooms have been created (a bedroom with 1 double bed and 1 single bed, a bedroom with 4 single beds, a bedroom with 1 double bed)
Upstairs is the living room with equipped kitchen (fridge, gas stove and oven and kitchen equipment)
The sanitary facilities consist of 2 toilets, 2 showers, and 2 sinks.
The maximum capacity is 8 people.
The chalet is located at an altitude of 1830 meters, it is not connected to the electricity network, it is equipped with solar panels. So it's just the sunshine during the day that will allow you to have the necessary comfort (lighting, fridge and freezer).
On the edge of the Vanoise National Park, many magnificent hikes are accessible from the chalet.
