Welcome to the cottage Chez Sorel du Périgord.
Our charming stone house is located in an old village with a 500 year old history, in the Dordogne Valley, between Bergerac and Sarlat. It offers the charm and authenticity of local architecture consisting of stone houses perched on the side of a sunny hill overlooking the small river La Couze that provided hydraulic power to many paper mills.
The interior of the house is warm and welcoming, with rustic elements that add character to each room.
It can accommodate 4 people.
It consists of:
- a kitchen/dining room
- an adjoining living room (with convertible sofa) separated by a vault and a double curtain
- of a room with a bed 2 people
- a small room in the attic with 2 single beds. (only for children; Height max 160 cm)
- a bathroom with WC
- a courtyard of 30 m2 with covered terrace, barbecue, deckchairs and bench.
You will enjoy the calm and serenity of the neighborhood while being close to the amenities of the village (supermarket, pharmacy, restaurant, bar/tobacco).
In the country of the bastides, on the border between Périgord Purple and Périgord Noir, you will be ideally located to discover the riches of the heritage, unique sanctuaries in the world, preserved nature, to enjoy various sports activities, swimming spots and to share the art of living in the Périgord.
