The house is a traditional farmhouse and it is extremely spacious. There are 5 bedrooms (or 6 if you use the small living room as a bedroom), 4 bathrooms and a cloakroom in the main house. A 6th/7th bedroom, accessed from a separate entrance, with its own shower room is available at an additional cost, meaning it is possible to accommodate up to 17 people. (The main house itself cannot accommodate more than 15 people due to fire regulations.)
The rooms all have lots of character with beautiful exposed beams and stone walls. A shower room is on the ground floor which will help those who prefer not to negotiate stairs. The ground floor is wheelchair accessible – please ask for more details if this applies to you.
There is a large heated saline swimming pool (12 x 6 m) fenced with a terrace, a pergola to provide shade and plenty of sun loungers, overlooking the garden, fields and woods.
A large games room will delight the children, and there's plenty of outdoor space to explore, over 15 hectares in fact. The locality is rich in history and many pretty medieval villages are within easy reach.

"Des merveilleuses vacances"
Nous avons séjourné chez Mark et Gill pendant une semaine avec cinq couples. Mark et Gill sont des supers hôtes, très gentils et accueillants, nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Leur maison est spacieuse, bien aménagée et agencée avec leurs 6 chambres et leurs 4 salles de bain. Nous avons pu profiter au maximum de la piscine puisque le soleil était au rendez vous durant notre séjour, du terrain de boule, de la salle de jeux avec un billard, un baby foot, une table de ping pong et la possibilité de jouer au tennis dans le village voisin. Nous vous recommandons cette location et nous garderons précieusement cette adresse.

"French countryside stay"
Wonderful stay in beautiful property with extensive grounds. All rooms are authentically decorated and impeccably maintained. The free cycles are a great addition making it easy to explore the local countryside, villages and vineyards (wine tasting). The large games room provided hours of entertainment and the lounge/dining room with log burner, a comfortable retreat for cosy autumn evenings. Gill & Mark are amazing welcoming hosts.
