Sörenberg has been a recognized UNESCO biosphere reserve since 2001. The Free Spirit Lodge is just 300 metres from the village centre, and Golf Club Flühli-Sörenberg is a 10-minute drive away.
Lucerne, Berne, Interlaken, Mount Titlis and Mount Pilatus can be reached by car in 1 hour. In winter, it is not possible to access the property by car.
