Ecolodge Beauregard welcomes you for a rejuvenating stay in the heart of nature (hotel services, breakfast brunches, bath towels, beds made, end-of-stay cleaning included)
Charming accommodation and outdoor recreation less than 2 hours from Paris, in the heart of Puisaye (Guédelon and pottery villages).
The Ecolodge is based on several principles:
Limit the impact on the environment.
Prioritize the local economy.
Propose activities in harmony with nature.
Since the creation of the place, this approach has been omnipresent by quickly involving local craftsmen in the construction of the huts, by supplying locally the products served for breakfasts (breads, cheeses, farm products, etc.), by setting up in the center of the park a large permaculture vegetable garden, ….
During your stay, you will be able to discover our choices and our actions:
The lodges are located in such a way as to minimize soil sealing. On stilts, the foundations are columns which facilitate the circulation of water and the maintenance of biodiversity.
Wastewater from the estate is treated using a phyto-purification system. Filtration is carried out using plants. This mode of treatment does not use any chemicals.
The quality of the water leaving the basins allows its direct use for crops.
The materials used for the various accommodations have been carefully chosen with, for example, wood wool for the insulation of the cabins and Douglas fir for the exterior cladding. By creating excellent insulation, the cabins maintain an almost constant temperature in winter and summer. This limits the use of energy.
Motor vehicles are not permitted inside the park. An electric scooter and a bicycle (equipped with a small trailer) are available at reception to facilitate the transport of luggage, food purchases and emptying the bins. These must be returned immediately to the reception so that everyone can use them, they are not available for walking with the children and children are not authorized to use them. Ecolodge Beauregard declines all responsibility in the event of accidents with the scooter and the electric bike.
