Traditionally a holiday resort, the promenade and Cardigan Bay are 4 minutes’ drive from Brynhyfryd cottages. The bay has the largest population of bottlenose dolphins in the UK. At the end of the promenade is the Royal Pier, host to a bar, a nightclub and arcade entertainment.
Also less than 2 miles from the cottages is Aberystwyth Cliff Railway, offering scenic cliff top views at the summit of Constitution Hill.
