At an altitude of 840 m and in an environment of forests and mountain pastures, this old restored farmhouse is a haven of peace – a parenthesis of happiness!

The Monthury guest rooms can accommodate up to 4 people: 1 double bedroom (140 cm bed) and 1 twin bedroom (90 cm bed). Private bathroom, separate WC.
The beds are made and the towels provided at no extra charge.
Balcony, television, tea/coffee maker, children's library.

Shaded table, barbecue, deck chairs and hammock await you in the garden and on a terrace/solarium offering a 180° view of the combe and the forest.

If you don't want to go out for dinner on the first evening, we can offer you "countryside baskets" at the price of 20 € / person, drinks included.

Contents of the basket: vegetarian bowl, local cold cuts, Franche-Comté cheeses, homemade dessert.

Here is the route, for the last kilometers:

Arrival via Champagnole OR via Frasne/Pontarlier (D 471)
In Onglières, a kind of crossroads village, leave the D 471 to take the rue de la Joux towards the forest (D 66). Look at your meter and do 3 km. You are at a forest crossroads. Take the path to the mailbox on the left, and drive another 3 km to the meter. Drive slowly: the path is bad and there are often passages of deer...
At the exit of the forest, you will see a large isolated house: it is there. Leave your car near ours and walk around the house: we are waiting for you to give you the key to your accommodation!
