Private poolLa Chaumière is in Ousson-sur-Loire, a village in the Loire valley, close to the famous Route Nationale 7 and only 1h30 from Paris by road or by train. It is a perfect base for visiting a wide variety of touristic and natural sites in the region.
For food and wine lovers, we are close to the world-famous Burgundy vineyards Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé as well as several high-quality local wine growers who have been operating for generations. The village of Chavignol, known for its goats’ cheese is also a short drive away.
We are only 50 meters from the "Loire à vélo" bike route.
The nearby towns of Briare (6 km) and Chatillon-sur-Loire (3 km) have many restaurants, shops and markets.
La Chaumière is in the center of the village, only 50 meters from the banks of the Loire. It is a charming house built in the 18th century that will delight you with its authenticity and its peacefullness. It is the ideal place for a romantic getaway or an overnight stop.
A garden and a swimming-pool, nested in an inner courtyard, are available during the summer season for relaxing.
Every room is decorated with taste and has its own private bathroom. A home-made breakfast with fresh and seasonal products is served every morning. A “table d’hôte” is available upon prior request for evening meals.

"Super"
Absolut empfehlenswert, tolle Gastgeberin, tolles Ambiente und direkt an der Loire und dem Fahrradweg gelegen. Fahrräder konnten sicher abgestellt werden. Gastgeberin spricht sehr gur englisch.
